This is required to deliver the site, maintain availability and investigate abuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is restricted and erased when no longer required, except where a security event or legal obligation requires longer preservation.

3. Contact by email or phone

If you contact Malex, the information you provide is processed to answer your request and, where relevant, to take steps before entering into or to perform a contract. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) and, for other business communication, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Statutory retention duties remain unaffected.

4. Cookies, analytics and external media

This static website does not set cookies or local-storage identifiers and does not load analytics, advertising trackers, social-media plugins or third-party media. It has no web form or customer login. See the cookie information.

5. Recipients and transfers

Connection data may be processed by hosting and technical service providers acting for Malex. Other recipients receive personal data only where required by law or needed to handle your request. Any transfer outside the European Economic Area must rely on a valid mechanism under Chapter V GDPR.

6. Your rights

Subject to the legal requirements, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to a data-protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for the company location is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia.
